I won my SSD case for Organic Brain Disorder, bipolar disorder, and dysthymia. I am 51 and was ordered by the judge to pick a representative payee. I plan to choose my husband. Does the public have the right to see the review of the Florida Fire Marshall's office regarding its requirement to determine whether a particular statute would have any 'economic impact on small businesses'? What if the Agency did not proceed with a formal written review, but made a determination based on an alleged informal investigation? How much of that information is or should become public knowledge under the Sunshine laws of the State of Florida? Would gross negligence or worse in such an investigation constitute a basis for a lawsuit against the implementation of the law?

I filed an appeal against a decision in a municipal court where the judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff. The court of common pleas instructed that the plaintiff must file a complaint within 20 days, to which I am to respond. The 20-day period is almost over, and the plaintiff has not filed the complaint yet. What should I do as the defendant if the plaintiff fails to file the complaint within the 20 days?
