Is it possible to sue Congress when they imposed a mandatory sentence for first offenders of receiving child pornography with only 20 minutes of debate? The proposed amendment was put forth by a freshman Congressman upon the request of 2 Justice Department lawyers. I think they suppressed my right to due process as there was no debate or outside input when the law was passed. I know that due process does not necessarily apply to Congress, but it seems that imprisoning someone under this law is taking a right away from me.

When my child was a toddler, he developed flu-like symptoms and we gave him Gatorade to keep him hydrated, as he wouldn't take Pedialyte. The doctor approved this, but we were unaware of the high levels of citric acid and sugar in Gatorade, which led to him developing painful cavities. This caused him to stop eating almost everything due to the pain, and we had to spend nearly $10,000 to fix his teeth. Even after the dental work, he still struggles with eating and has a subconscious fear of pain and textures. He is now 7 years old and continues to suffer from these side effects. Had we known of the harmful effects of Gatorade on children's teeth, we would have never given it to him. Due to the absence of warnings on labels, do we have a possible case against Gatorade?
