I purchased Apple iTunes cards at a grocery store and put a total of $1000 on them (4 cards). I never used them and now would like to return them to the seller. The store manager refuses to take them back, saying that I need to return them to Apple. Apple rep says that I need to return them to where I bought them and Apple will repay the cards' value to the reseller, but not to me directly as they do not have access to the transaction. Can I pursue the seller (grocery store) to take the cards back, and if yes, how can I do that? Is there any law protecting me as a consumer in this situation, and if so, how should I proceed?

I have a seasonal cabin on 11 acres outside Stamford, NY. My new neighbor built a cabin and started having rave parties on his adjoining 15 acres, where the music is so loud that it prevents me from having peace and even vibrates my trailer. I cannot reason with him or get advance notice of when the parties are happening. Do I have any recourse, especially since both our parcels are on a private road?
