I was laid off in March 2020 due to COVID and have been collecting unemployment. In August 2020, I was diagnosed with renal failure and kidney cancer, and I was also previously diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. I applied for Social Security Disability and was recently approved with retroactive payments from October 2020 to February 2021. My last unemployment claim was for the week of February 21, 2021, and my next SSDI payment is due April 14, 2021. Do I stop claiming unemployment benefits, and will I be responsible for repaying unemployment for the months I received retroactive SSDI payments?
