Can a medical facility sue me for $1,000 or is it just a threat to get me to pay? I am in Florida, and I have asked if I can pay them in a lump sum, but they did not offer much of a discount. They were paid by my insurance, but there is a remaining balance. Bills are appearing constantly for services I didn't even know I had.

I have a South Carolina legal separation agreement signed by both me and my spouse. The court finalized it, and my year of separation will be complete in one week. However, two weeks ago, my spouse received a package from a stranger who hacked into the email and texts of the woman I had an affair with. Can my spouse now ask for alimony in South Carolina, even after the separation agreement was signed and agreed to in front of a judge?

My doctor is filing false claims to my health insurance company for services never rendered, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars.
