My husband was a truck driver for 30 years and had lap band surgery to lose weight, but it slipped twice and was eventually removed. He is now back to 270 lbs and having trouble breathing due to the stretched skin compressing his lungs. His doctors recommend sleeve surgery, but the insurance issues are delaying it. What should we do, considering it's becoming life or death?

I have lived with a woman for over 18 years. There are no wills nor power of attorney. The only confirmation was she told family members that we were married. One family member prepared a cake in honor of her statement and was provided at a family gathering. I have worked in a business she owns for over 16 years, helped her establish a new business location, and assisted in establishing several leases on properties she owns. Her assets would be in the five million dollar range, and she received an insurance death claim of $750,000.00. We live in North Carolina. I have registered at hotels as Mr. /Mrs. using my last name and have provided authorization on medical forms for her to obtain information. She recently had surgery and allowed the doctor to provide medical information to me. What are my rights and options in this situation?

I purchased a Philips Norelco product in January 2015 that offered a rebate. Six months later, I still haven't received the rebate. I've contacted the company multiple times and received conflicting information. I have documented evidence of being lied to. I want to pursue legal action and wonder how many other times this has happened. What should I do?
