I had motions to set aside, vacate, or declare void denied, and I want to know if I can pursue other courts besides family court and how to force the other party to prove proper service. Additionally, I want to know what motions I can file to address my inability to comply with the order due to financial or logistical issues.

My boyfriend and I jointly own a house and 20 acres. He left and said I could have the house, but now he's refusing to sign off on the loan transfer. What are my rights as a co-owner to keep the property?

I have filed an unlimited civil case against my late husband's employer for professional negligence and defamation of character. The first hearing is in April. Could really use an attorney to represent me. I live in Williams, CA. They stopped paying for his life insurance without informing him or offering him the option to continue paying it himself. Now, they are claiming my husband said things he never would have. According to the insurance company, there should be a signed document accepting or declining the insurance, but no such document exists.

I am facing an unlawful detainer for failure to pay rent in California (Ventura County). I have been out of work since August 2015 due to disabling conditions and have been unable to pay December 2015 rent. I am currently enrolled in state programs for work, food, and other assistance but cannot receive rent help until employed. My wife will receive money from her school loans in January, and I need time to find employment. How should I fill out the UD-105 form to ensure the judge considers my circumstances and to possibly delay the eviction process until I can secure employment?
