In a custody case at the First Judicial District Court in Carson City, Nevada, I filed a change of venue petition including facts, findings, affidavits, an order, and served all involved parties. However, the court claims they have received nothing indicating they need to present it to the judge for signature. What should I do to ensure the judge reviews and potentially signs the order for a change of venue?

I contracted a painting job with a customer last year to repair water damage from a leaking roof, which was approved by their insurance company. The customer postponed my start date several times and eventually informed me that their builder would perform the repairs I had contracted for, requesting the return of the $2000 contract deposit. I sent a notarized letter stating that I would retain $1961.94 from the deposit due to the breach of contract. The customer's lawyer later suggested adjusting the contract price based on the remaining work, but I am concerned about trust and principle, especially since they may have used my designs without permission. Do I have to return the deposit, and if not, how should I proceed?

I entered into a contract with a concert provider in 2006 for $15,000 and the promoter never put the concert together or returned my money. He has been telling me that he is working on a deal to get money from others to pay me or that he will pay me when he does another concert. The deal was for a specific concert during a specific time frame. What is the statute of limitations for this Ponzi-like scheme?

I am a victim of a crime committed by my lease-partner, and I am also facing a retaliatory eviction. The leasing agent has used fraudulent methods, including debt collection and eviction threats, and there have been incidents of harassment and pressure in our home. I believe the leasing agent has committed debt-collector crimes. Should I request a change of court, and is a victim lease holder also subject to eviction for breach of lease?

If I receive a civil action interrogatory from a law firm representing a client suing me, do I have to fill it out, especially if they ask for sensitive information like my social security number and bank account details? What are the consequences of not filling it out, and how can I protect myself and my family's financial situation if they threaten to seize my bank account?
