Can the 2 directors of a Florida Condo Association, who are being sued personally by a unit owner (also a Florida lawyer) for a meritless lawsuit, legally require separate counsel from the Insurance Company, represent themselves in a countersuit calling for damages, refuse to settle unless paid damages, and have the case go to trial with their counsel on hand at all legal activities? Additionally, can a settlement offered and accepted by the Association Board be refused by the 2 directors and have the case go to trial anyway? Could the Insurance company legally decide to offer the directors a 'settlement sum' if that additional sum added to the settlement extortion by the Plaintiffs would still be far less than a trial? Lastly, is the director being personally sued entitled to a jury trial?

I am researching filing a claim on a judge's bond and need to understand the process, especially given my family's extensive ties to Clark County, Washington, including my aunt's retirement from the courthouse, my step-dad's work as an undercover narcotics agent and county chaplain, and my brother-in-law's position on the Clark County Fire Department Board. I am currently in North Carolina and need assistance with resolving issues involving a District Court Judge in Clark County, Washington, considering jurisdictional complexities.

I started working under an H1B visa 3 months ago (it is my 4th year under H1B). A green card process was initiated, but due to personal differences, I informed my boss of my intention to resign. The company suggested I consider other positions within the company. My questions are: 1) If they do not find me another position and claim I resigned, could the ongoing green card process be a legal problem for finding another job? 2) Could these events harm my chances of obtaining another H1B visa in the future?

My daughter has a lawyer for an auto accident from two years ago, but he is not progressing the case. They have no signed agreement, and no lawsuit has been filed against the instigator who rear-ended her. Can she switch to a new lawyer with minimal financial issues, and does the current lawyer need to provide all related paperwork to the new lawyer?

I take Adderall but tested positive for meth on a non-DOT drug test administered by my employer during a carpal tunnel examination on my day off. Despite my doctor's explanation to HR, I was fired. I've worked for the company for 12 1/2 years, passed every DOT drug test, and am covered under DOT regulations. The company is fighting my union, and they claim the firing is just and within collective bargaining due to the positive test. What should I do?

Is there any Florida case law on F.S. 825 Abuse, neglect, and exploitation of Elderly persons? If not Florida, is there any case law elsewhere in the US? This is criminal law.
