I entered into a puppy trade agreement with a breeder in Canada and I’m in Indiana. She sent me my puppy 11/9/21 and I sent her my puppy Nov 22. I have been asking the breeder for the correct paperwork on her puppy since May of 22. She rarely replies and doesn’t follow through with what she promises. The documents sent with the flight nanny had 3 different dates of birth. When I asked her about it, she said she had the dates altered by her vet to get the puppy through customs. She didn’t have her ckc registration but it was in process. The puppy was 9 weeks old when she was flown to me. The flight nanny wasn’t supposed to have given me fraudulent documents. I told her I never would’ve had her do that. That’s when I told her I needed all the correct paperwork. I sent her my girl with all of her required paperwork in a binder clearly marked with tabs so she could find anything she needed easily. Fast forward to the 1st week of January of this year I notified her that I had been patient and understanding but was through waiting. She needed to arrange to take her girl back and she could either return my girl or purchase her. She was furious and refused. She said my only option was to wait for paperwork or wait for a puppy off of my girl. I told her absolutely not. She blocked and unfriended me on all social media and said she’ll only communicate through email. I emailed her giving her a deadline of last Wednesday at noon to teach an amicable agreement or I was pulling the papers from akc on my girl, notifying ckc of the situation and filing a complaint with Customs. She said she wouldn’t respond to threats and hasn’t responded to anything. She rcvd the ckc registration pdf and sent me a copy saying we were done. To date I still have a passport and vet certificate with the wrong dob, and no dna report and no pedigree as promised. I feel that I’ve been more than reasonable. Any suggestions?
