I'm getting married soon in Los Angeles. I'm French and was wondering what I have to do for the immigration papers after my marriage, do I have to take a lawyer for that, and how long I have to stay in the states after the marriage before being allowed to go back to France?

I gave a friend personal property (art) to hold for me while I was moving to California. For over a year, I have tried to contact him via email, postal mail, and phone, but he has not responded. I have known him and his family members for many years, yet none of them will return my calls. I believe if a lawyer sent out a letter to them stating I am taking legal action, the art will be returned. Please advise me of a lawyer in the Monroe County area that may take this case.

I just bought a used car from a small dealer in Tennessee, and the transmission is already failing. Does my state have a law that allows me to back out of a sale within 30 days due to the car's condition, even if the bill of sale states no warranties implied once papers are signed?
