Hello, I live in Covington, KY and received a call from a police officer asking me to come to the Independence Police Station on Monday between 4-5 PM to answer questions about a credit card. I haven't done anything wrong and am unsure what to do. No charges have been filed, and I haven't talked to a KY lawyer yet. What should I do?

I am concerned about the Indemnification; Insurance clause in a lease I am supposed to sign in New Jersey, particularly section (A), which seems to remove any liability from the landlord for damages that he could reasonably be held liable for in court. I am worried that this clause contains illegal language and whether it would hold up in court if I were to sign it. Additionally, I am unsure if I can negotiate this clause or if signing it would still be valid in court, given that the landlord is required to keep the property in repair.
