How can I change the verbiage in a partnership agreement to ensure that each party retains full rights to their independently created works and that both parties can use the creative works they created in collaboration without fear of future claims for credit or fees?

My son, a police officer in Texas, asked two Spanish-speaking officers for help with his Spanish to take a required test. He failed some courses and never took the final. He gave the officers a cap as a thank you, which another officer reported to the state. An investigation followed, and after two and a half years, he went to a hearing in Austin where the two officers testified against him. The state wants to revoke his license. His lawyer was ill-prepared, and we don't know what to do next. If his license is taken, is there an appeal process, and what type of attorney should we look for?

We have been selling at a farm market for many years. A new leaser has labeled us as retailers because we buy fifty percent of what we sell, despite other vendors doing the same. They have taken away our growers' sign, which misleads customers into thinking we don't grow anything, thereby affecting our sales and customer relationships. The new leaser is enforcing rules selectively and has changed them multiple times, including taking away our grower sign after initially agreeing we could keep it. The co-op's contract states they cannot change the rules for the first year, but they have. Is there anything we can do about this discrimination and unfair treatment?

I provided information to the state about a man who was committing fraud against the elderly, including mortgage fraud, written notices, and pretending to be a real estate agent and estate planner. Despite this, the state did not act, and he continued to victimize people, including my deceased mother. The FBI eventually caught him, sentenced him to 4.5 years in federal prison, and I was only notified of being a victim for restitution purposes. Can I sue the state for not acting on the information I provided, which could have prevented many people from becoming victims?

I was given a default judgment based on not knowing I had a court date due to being improperly served. I was arrested on a warrant for contempt for failure to show for a hearing I didn't know I had. I filed a motion to set aside the judgment and an appeal, but the judge denied my request for claim of exemption without explanation. I need help understanding my options as I live in Colorado and this case is in Denver.

I have a brother who passed away in a motorcycle accident with no insurance on the motorcycle, but he had PIP insurance on his van and lived with my mother who also has PIP and homeowner's insurance. Is there any possible avenue to file a claim against any of these insurances to cover funeral expenses?
