How can I determine if there is a criminal law enforcement investigation involving me, my property, assets, family, friends, neighbors, doctors, or any other person, place, or thing that might be even remotely related to me? I’ve been told that law enforcement officers are allowed by law to lie when asked about an investigation, and I’ve heard rumors and innuendos since September 2017, with no charges filed. I’m concerned due to a problematic neighbor with a history of involving others with lies for personal gain.

Can I sue my property management company if I was assaulted in the laundry room by a fellow resident in Texas? I have filed a police report and taken pictures. I was drunk at the time, but that never became an issue. I live with a man who is on probation for DWI. The property management did not manage the laundry machines well, allowed a family to cheat fellow residents out of money, provided machines that did not work properly, and did not maintain the machines well, leading to theft.

I was physically assaulted by a group of people at a party at a friend's house in New Hampshire. I was beaten, lost a tooth that will cost thousands to fix, and have filed a police report. I went to the dentist for a temporary false tooth and don't know the names of the people who assaulted me, but there were witnesses. What legal steps should I take next?

I am a 63-year-old disabled person living in the country. My neighbors have been stalking, harassing, threatening, invading my privacy, bullying, taking photos of me, and calling the sheriff on me with false accusations (they have a family member who is a deputy). They are now suing me over a fence line that has been in place since around 1978, claiming they put the fence up themselves. My attorney is not having luck getting the case dropped and won't include any of the harassment issues, even though this lawsuit is just more harassment. This situation has caused me financial hardship, emotional issues, and health problems (I have a bad heart). I've had to spend money on privacy and security systems to feel safe. I want to file a lawsuit against them for all this and stop the harassment. What specific legal actions can I take?

I was hired for a position in the Jewelry department at Sam's Club in January 2017, but the manager and team lead neglected to inform me that I would also have to work in the clothing department, folding clothes that people destroy. This additional responsibility has led to anxiety, high blood pressure, and alcohol consumption. I have been the only person to stay for a long time due to the dishonesty and emotional abuse.
