How can I get a relative removed from a Psychiatrist hospital when the treating Dr. tells me I can not until he releases her? She went in willingly and in good physical health, this was supposed to be an evaluation to determine if she has dementia or if there is another type of mental problem. She has been there (Hickory Trails Hospital in Desoto, TX) since April 1, 2013 and is physically deteriorating. The family has not been able to awaken her for the past 3 days, we can only visit for 1 hour per day. At this point, we'd like to get her out of the facility today and take her to Baylor Hospital. Please advise.

I am 46 and on disability. I moved to South Carolina 3 years ago from Ohio. I have noticed that I am being followed, and they even come up to my house. I have never been in trouble, I do not do drugs, and I do not drink. I do not know what to do, and the police do not come when I call. What should I do?

I took my broken tablet to a computer shop in Florida for repair. The shop owner said he couldn't repair it but could ship it to Boston. FedEx lost the tablet, and the shop owner claims FedEx will only pay $111. I believe I am being scammed by the shop owner and wonder if he holds any responsibility in replacing the goods I took to him.

I am a veteran with a debt to the VA hospital in Elsmere, Delaware. From 2001 to 2006, I was charged co-payments at the VA hospital. The last bill I received was in October 2006. On March 25, they took my entire disability check without prior notification, claiming I owe them an additional $4,800. They have sent me forms for a payment plan but I haven't filled them out yet. They stated they don't send letters, and my last bill in 2006 is considered my notification of the debt. My questions are: were they right to take my check without notifying me, why did they take my whole check, and if I start a new payment plan, does the statute of limitations start over? What can I do about this?
