I am a 75-year-old female stroke victim left paralyzed on my left side and unable to walk. I have had my left lung removed for cancer and also have Parkinson's disease. I have been living at Independence House in Fostoria, Ohio for the last five months. I like living here, but I have a problem with some of the care that the aides aren't providing. Specifically, one of the aides has just started the lead aide position for training newly hired aides, and I am concerned about the quality of care I am receiving, such as being bathed with cold water. I have an estranged husband and four daughters, but none are ready to help me. What legal steps can I take to address this issue?

We have an employee who has been with the company for 3 years, but has had issues with using marijuana at work and driving under the influence (DUI). He was hospitalized for 3 months after being pulled over while driving a company truck, and later tore his Achilles tendon. He returned to work without a driver's license and was given a second chance as a general laborer, but disappeared again and was later found to be in jail for DUI-related issues. The position he held is no longer active, and we want to let him go. How should we proceed to terminate his employment legally and what are the best practices?

Can loud noise be considered elder abuse in Washington state, particularly in Bellingham, where the noise includes loud banging, slamming, stomping, and music, affecting my health and causing anxiety? I lost my iPhone 6 while traveling on Delta flight #2167 from JFK to SLC. I have requested Delta to search for it, but they haven't found it yet. Could I have lost it during TSA transit at JFK? The back of the phone has a sticker with NEST+m. How can I proceed to locate my phone?

In a breach of contract suit, if I suspect the adjuster has documented fake calls in the claim file, should I ask her to admit she faked the calls during discovery, or wait until trial to present my phone records as evidence?
