I am a custodian in the public sector and have been experiencing constant harassment from my boss since joining the National Guard. He has manipulated my statements, increased my workload, and retaliated against me for not doing favors or kissing his ass. I am documenting and videotaping everything for protection but am unsure if this behavior constitutes harassment and if I should notify my boss to stop. Should I pursue legal action through the EEOC or a private attorney, and do I need to inform my boss to stop harassing me?
