I am now headed to Court knowing there is no plaintiff as the plaintiff is the State of Hawaii. We have a booklet explaining what it is, and we are traveling from Hartford to Portland, Oregon on Delta, departing on February 17 and returning on February 24. Will there be any problems as long as she has the booklet that explains everything?

I hired someone to install a gas fireplace for $17,000. After signing an additional contract for the gas pipe, I informed him within 48 hours that I wanted to cancel the second agreement due to financial reasons. He agreed initially but now demands full payment or threatens to walk off the job. Do I have a case?

Hi Tina. Good evening! I recently discovered that the computer/server of an attorney I used in the past got hacked and all their client’s files, including mine, got blocked and encrypted by the hacker. The law firm still has not contacted me to let me know about the issue and I do not know what I should do.

I received a note threatening eviction due to the condition of my apartment in Michigan. The apartment was messy but not dirty. What kind of recourse do I have, and what steps should I take?
