I am a TN resident and while I was staying in NJ, my parents had some issues with NJ state Tax department when they filed bankruptcy. Recently they came and levied my account because my mother was a co-owner in my account. I want to put a stay on releasing that fund. Can a TN attorney represent me in that matter or it has to be from NJ? Additionally, I had a judgment in my name 16 years old that I was not aware of. Can they come and levy the account out of state? Even my credit report was not showing this judgment. Can they enforce judgment if I was never served?

I have two service dogs, one 10 years old and one in training at 5 months. My landlord in Omaha, NE, wants a $225 deposit for each dog and $50 per dog per month. I was told that under ADA, service animals cannot be charged these fees. What is the correct legal stance, and what steps should I take?
