I am an ICU nurse working at a hospital in western North Carolina. I have a genetic condition called alpha-1 anti-tripsyn deficiency, and my pulmonologist and nurse practitioner have advised against working in Covid units due to the high risk. I have documentation from them stating this. I am almost 63 years old. Do I have a case for a lawsuit if my hospital continues to assign me to Covid units?

I am the power of attorney and trustee for my 93-year-old mother who passed away in California. The bank has frozen one of her accounts, and the other is a Representative payee account for social security, which is still open. I have funeral expenses to pay. Should I attempt to pay these through the still-open account, and how can I unfreeze the other account?

Does this read that all electronic communication is available “anytime” or that any one of those options is available at “anytime”. Like if phone call is offered can the other party deny video chat or text messaging?

Can I still report parental kidnapping after a month of the date the other parent took my child, even though we are unmarried and under MN law the mother has sole custody? The father lives in Ohio and I live in Minnesota. I called the Columbus, OH police to do a welfare check today.
