I am being placed on state probation in Tennessee for 4 years and want to transfer my probation to North Carolina. I have applied to school in North Carolina, have a halfway house willing to accept me, and an outpatient facility I will attend. I am currently 100% disabled with the VA, receiving $2900 a month in compensation. Will this be enough to get a transfer, and what should I do?

My mortgage company continues to call and send letters after payments have been made and are up to date. They also sent paperwork to begin a short sale or foreclosure on the property. Is this harassment, and what legal actions can I take?

I took out a loan for $300 and my girlfriend paid it over the phone with her card. We had a disagreement, so she called the bank and claimed it was fraud to get back at me. My loan is paid off, but they said I can't get another loan from them. Can they report this to the police even though my loan is paid off?

My husband purchased a 2010 skid steer from Illinois, and we live in Colorado. The seller promised it was in excellent condition and ready to work, but upon arrival, it became apparent that it is not ready for work. We paid for an excellent condition, ready-to-work skid steer. Is there any way we can sue to redeem our money and return the merchandise? The seller is not responding to our calls or messages, and we just received the skid steer yesterday, July 11th.

My wife and I purchased a vehicle with a salvage title, and I accidentally provided my ID to the notary public instead of my wife's, resulting in the vehicle being co-owned. We immediately transferred the title to my wife's name at the BMV. Could this be viewed as a fraudulent transfer by creditors, even though it was not my intention? Additionally, does the Ohio vehicle exemption of $3450 apply to the benefit payment option I signed with a disability company, which allows them to place a lien on any property? If creditors were to seize the vehicle, would they have to revert to the previous title where the vehicle was co-owned, and would my wife be entitled to half of the vehicle's value since she paid for it entirely?

My home was foreclosed on in Virginia. I received a foreclosure notice stating it was being sold on July 3rd. I had asked for a loan modification but was denied because I had filed bankruptcy in 2002-2003 and didn't reinstate my mortgage. How much time do I have before eviction, and how can I ensure my home wasn't reinstated in my bankruptcy?
