I am completing the paperwork to file a stalking injunction and possible punitive damages. What kind of damages should I look at filing when I have been harassed and stalked? When does stalking become criminal? Do I need to file against the person in both states where the incidents occurred, or only where I am currently located? Is it necessary to meet a police officer in person to file a stalking injunction, or can it be done over the phone?
