I am having trouble with a car repair shop that did a horrible job on my car. My insurance has approved another repair shop, and the old one will have to pay for the job. It has been three months since the accident, and the car is still being worked on. Is there any limit to how long this process can go on, and can I stop it to find a different solution, such as forcing the insurance company to total the car or getting the first repair shop to reimburse for poor workmanship?

I am in trouble at work. My employer is asking for a statement from me. I feel that I will be demoted, lose pay, and items will be placed in my file. Should I get a lawyer to help me draft the statement since it's all based on 3 workers' perceptions of my character? I have been employed for 5 years at the selected company and only have one minor infraction. While I did break company policy (pass travel) and admitted to this infraction, I feel I am being railroaded due to my union advocacy.

I have an outstanding warrant in North Dakota from 2008 for possession of a controlled substance (2 prescription pills). I was searched without probable cause and was let go without being charged at the time. I only became aware of the warrant recently. I live in Texas and was in North Dakota at the time. What are my options for resolving this, and can the charges be dropped or reduced?
