I am launching multiple social impact mobile/web apps under one company. My entity is Delaware-based but operates in Florida. I am confused about whether I need to launch a holding company or use the operating entity for this purpose. We currently need to secure IP and trademarks but are unsure about the holding company's necessity. Our business model is similar to a game studio, where we release multiple titles under our company. We are a small enterprise and want to keep things cost-effective. How should we structure our company to protect our assets and liability?

I have a copy of a search warrant that was served at my house. The items they were looking for are huge construction equipment that could never fit in the areas they searched. It also didn’t list safes to be searched, but they removed and cut open my safe and took all my money. It’s been over a year and they still won’t give it back. No charges have been filed, but they still won’t return my money. What do I need to do to first get my money back and second file a suit against the department for taking my stuff?
