I am retiring from the Department of Defense on June 1 and am having trouble accessing my account. I tried to log in this weekend but was unsuccessful even after uploading my Maryland driver's license. My identity was stolen a few years ago during tax season. I believe I may need to visit the Westminster, MD office in person. How can I get an in-person appointment?

I need assistance with a legal matter in the state of Virginia. I’ve filed a wrongful termination claim with the EEOC and have retained my employer's equipment (laptop and cell phone) for potential use as evidence if I receive the right to sue. My employer will report the equipment stolen after March 21st. Should I retain an attorney before returning the equipment and while the claim is still under investigation?

My girlfriend's ex-husband is threatening to accuse me of being a sex offender and abusing their two children, aged 10 and 7. She is going to the local police department to run my criminal background, which only shows speeding tickets. The ex-husband is harassing and insane. Can I take legal action based on harassment or character defamation?

In a defamation of character lawsuit, the court has determined there is definite defamation and ordered a cease and desist order, prohibiting further defamation. The language of the law states 'made available.' The issue is whether 'made available' refers to the date of publication of the book or if it applies from the time the court orders no further information 'made available'.

My husband is 85 years old with multiple medical issues including dementia, limited mobility with a cane, a history of open heart surgery, stents, and a stroke. Our primary physician previously stated he could never serve jury duty. What should we do if the courts request an updated letter, and what steps should be taken if he is mistakenly called for jury duty?
