I am currently on SMS disability and disability through my employer. It has been two years since I left my job. They want to terminate me now, which would end my employer's disability coverage. My doctor says I cannot continue in my old job as a manager due to stress. I have applied for other jobs within the company for over a year but have only received one interview call, which I couldn't attend due to a broken arm. Do they owe me another job, and does the Americans with Disabilities Act help me at all?

In my subdivision, there are CCRs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions). All of my neighbors have made additions to their homes without written approval from the architectural committee, and I built a 10'x12' outbuilding in my backyard. The new homeowners association president told me I need approval, which I agreed to seek. I provided a plot map with specifications to the architectural committee, but they told me I need board approval to proceed. I feel they are singling me out for written approvals when no one else has them. The architectural committee also says the roof pitch of my outbuilding must match my house's 6/12 pitch, which I feel is unfair since other neighbors have different roof pitches without issue. What are my legal rights and steps to take when approaching the board?

My 16-year-old son had friends over drinking alcohol at our home while I was at work. The police responded to a noise complaint, took him into custody, and issued a criminal summons. His photograph, name, age, and address were published in the local newspaper with a story about the underage drinking party. I picked him up from the police station, where he was fingerprinted and photographed. I know of other similar incidents where the kids were just sent home with warnings. What rights, if any, have been violated against my son for publishing this information, and what can I do to protect him?

When my husband passed away in 1985, my two daughters and I collected death benefits until my youngest became of age. Then, when the checks stopped coming in, my aunt and uncle (now deceased) were not happy to hear that I stopped receiving checks because they said it used to be and still should be that a widow qualifies to receive checks for the rest of her life or until she marries again. Have I been cheated out of money due to me? If so, how would I get any monies that might be due to me?
