I am supposed to receive a package from Ukraine, but the shipping company says I need to pay $77,750.00 to get it through customs without being opened. I already paid $3975.00. What steps should I take to verify the legitimacy of this request and ensure I am not being scammed?

I lived in Beaumont, Texas, in an apartment complex called Cypress Place. I moved out on September 1st and passed the inspection, but the landlord refused to return my deposit. What can I do to get my deposit back, and how should I go about getting free legal help?

Did you know today is Signing day for local high school athletic recruits? Prosper High School will not let a young lady who earned a full scholarship to Jacksonville University in La Crosse to sign because La Crosse is not a sanctioned UIL sport. She is having a private singing celebration at The Gin in Prosper at 7 pm tonight. I think Prosper is wrong to deny her the thrill of signing. Is there anything else the Expert should know before I connect you? Please pass on to your sports department.

What steps can be taken to address issues of fraud, perjury, and bias in a court case, particularly when the current judge is not allowing evidence of these issues to be presented, and the opposing party has a relative in a high position within the court?

I've been living in a rented apartment in the Bronx, NY for 8 years. The landlord has not addressed multiple repair requests, including lead on walls, an electrical hazard from a leaking lamp, collapsing ceiling pieces, and mold. I've documented instances of harassment and the building's tendency to take tenants to court for withholding payments and removing them, only to fix the apartment and upscale rent. Despite court agreements for repairs, they were never made. The landlord also asked me to drop my case against them in exchange for dropping their case against me, but they kept their case open. Now, there are safety issues like lead exposure affecting my children who have asthma, and a mold problem. The lease ends in September, but moving is challenging due to work and finding a suitable place for my family. What should I do?
