I am trying to execute my deceased husband's will in Virginia. There is one property under his name, and he made a will to give it to my two sons. I believe it will go to probate, and I am an independent executor according to the will. Do I need a lawyer for probate? If there is a rental income from this property, does the executor get the income during probate processing, especially since the will states 'ALLOCATE BETWEEN PRINCIPAL AND INCOME: to make allocations of charges and credits as between principal and income as in the sole discretion of the executor or trustee may appear to be proper.'

What should I do when I get overcharged for items, and the company has been overcharging for a long time without any complaints? The company shows prices online but charges more at the point of purchase, which seems like a scam. I am in California.

I'm a 50% owner in a business, and my business partner hasn't worked since July, has gotten his second DUI, and is not contributing to the business. He is still receiving a weekly check and has caused financial issues by not paying bills, not billing customers, and writing off around $35,000 in unrecoverable fees. I've tried talking to him and offering a structured buyout, but he isn't willing. Is there a way to force him out, and what steps can I take?

I am filing for divorce from an active duty Navy service member after 8 years of marriage. I am medically disabled and have been on permanent disability for 5 years. I want to know if I can be granted alimony with no set duration, how much of his retirement I am entitled to, and if I can be reimbursed for purchases made due to his infidelity.

I am a personal co-borrower on a corporate note and am considering borrowing money personally to fund a settlement during the corporate bankruptcy negotiation. Is it risky for me to borrow personally, as the creditor might try to collect the money I borrowed?
