I applied for a job in Colorado that required a background check and drug test. The job's salary is below $75,000, and GoodHire stated they were only going back 7 years. However, I received an adverse notice about a misdemeanor theft under $500 from Tennessee in 2012. Is this allowed under Colorado's 7-year rule for background checks, and what can I do about it?
