I bought a 2009 Cadillac CTS in January 2019. The car has been unable to pass emissions tests, preventing me from obtaining my first GA tag. I wrote a demand letter to the dealership owner 14 days ago but haven't heard back. I plan to take the owner to small claims court in his county. However, I heard from an attorney that I can't sue under the Lemon Law but could sue for Fraudulent Conveyance to void the contract. The car was sold with a warranty, but it only covers one coil for $200, and I would have to pay $1,995 for the remaining repairs. The check engine light was on when I bought the car, and I informed the dealership/owner a week later. Can I sue to void the contract for Fraudulent Conveyance?
