I filed a small claims complaint for money to replace my car that was totaled even though I was reimbursed for my present car as a total loss. The opposing attorney filed a motion to excuse verification of pleadings, and the judge granted the motion. What does this mean?

I have a court order for my wife to turn over my kids' passports to either attorney, but she turned over 2 and claimed she has one. Will my wife file a motion against me claiming I did not turn over the passport that she claims I have, and should I argue with my lawyer to file a motion on my behalf against my wife?

My elderly mother has a large estate. My sister, Lurdes, has been evicted twice from the property and continues to harass us by making false claims to Adult Protective Services, calling Code Enforcement on our mother, and spreading lies about me. She is also demanding copies of the will/living trust, despite not being named in it anymore due to her harassment. Is there anything we can do to stop her from harassing us?

I am being harassed by text messages threatening my safety by someone who thinks I "wronged" him. The relationship began on a pay-for-sex act, but that was a one-time thing. It hasn't occurred again and is becoming very threatening. I have called the police and intend to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office on Monday. Do I stand a chance to pursue this or am I entering the justice system "with dirty hands"? Additionally, how do I file civil charges, and what can I sue for?
