I gave a contractor $21,500 in May to do excavating and septic work, but the job has not been completed correctly. He admits to not doing the job correctly or finishing it. I've been asking for an itemized bill for five months and today received a fabricated receipt without actual purchase details for the septic. I suspect he stole around $10,000 from me. I'm in Wyoming. How long have you been dealing with this issue? Where do things currently stand? Since May 17, 2021, I've been dealing with this. I had to pay another contractor to redo the foundation that was dug incorrectly. The septic is installed but not finished or covered. He has my money and gave me a personal receipt. Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Other than he took my money, lied to me, caused me to be seven months behind on building my home, and left a mess behind.

I was in an explosion in 2013, resulting in 45% burns. I was picked up by a federal ambulance and kept in it for over an hour due to police suspicion of a meth lab. I have credible witnesses and an ambulance report that was switched with a city report to cover up the delay. I started a pro se claim against the city based on the fraudulent report and hired an attorney who did nothing but charge me. Can I still pursue this case?

I had two kids with my ex (same-sex relationship). She took my kids away after she got a new girlfriend and because she felt I needed to inform her of everything I was doing on vacation with my oldest son (as she wouldn't let me take the youngest). I didn't adopt them at the time because I was waiting for my second child's arrival. I'd like to seek joint custody so I can see my children. In loco parentis is something I believe I qualify for. My kids live in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. I need a payment plan as I am working to catch up on bills and fix my credit. I want equal rights to my children as she does. They live with her primarily, which is fine. Our old agreement, which was not notarized, was that I'd get my oldest son on certain days after work until she got off work. All I want is equal rights to them and to be able to see them. I was there with my oldest son in the same house we lived together for almost two years. My youngest son, I did not live with him at all due to her girlfriend. Please let me know if this is something we can work through. I haven't seen my kids since July. She won't even respond to messages, she just reads them. She wanted more money and I told her to take me for more child support because at the time her girlfriend didn't have a job and they needed more money. I gave her money willingly ever since my first son was born as child support.
