I got divorced a year ago and was left with 7 horses. I paid for the initial cost and took out a loan for one of the horses, but the bill of sale is in my ex-husband's name and the registration is in my 21-year-old daughter's name. My ex-husband doesn't want any part of this, and my daughter thinks the horse is solely hers. Should the horse be mine, and is there a way to switch the bill of sale to my name and then the registration through the USIHC (Icelandic Horse Association)?

In Houston, Texas, I had a dispute with my neighbor over property. The police were called multiple times, and they initially stated it was a civil matter. However, when the police arrived again, I was handcuffed and an officer took property from my possession without charging me, despite earlier advice that it was a civil matter.
