I had a workers' compensation case that settled in 2017. I noticed a Medicare set aside rider, which my lawyer had me sign. The lawyer told me the information in the last paragraph was not what it said, but I later found out the net settlement amount was different and I received much less than what the rider stated. Is this legal, and can it be considered legal malpractice in Illinois?
