I had back surgery in 2006 with Dr. Kaplan, which helped somewhat but did not eliminate all pain. I continued to see Dr. Kaplan, who sent me for shots and MRIs, but he refused to perform further surgery. In 2012, I went to Dr. Bono, who performed surgery and now I am pain-free. Dr. Bono indicated that it took longer to fix what Dr. Kaplan had done than to perform the original surgery. Is there anything I can do to address the six years of pain and suffering I endured due to Dr. Kaplan's refusal to perform necessary surgery?
