I attended Mass at the Cathedral in Rapid City, SD, and during the service, the priest forced parishioners to physically fill out pledge cards for donations, which was a distraction from the liturgy and intimacy with Christ. I left the Mass due to this and want to know if there is a way to address this issue internally within the church, possibly through a canon lawyer.
