I have a civil lawsuit question pertaining to the time in between the relative event and the time I decide or wish to file against a perpetrator. Specifically, I want to file charges for a perpetrator who broke into my house yesterday, assaulted my roommate, and caused around $1000 worth of damages. Additionally, I want to include in the lawsuit a motorcycle that I let the same person use nine months ago in April, which was never returned. Can these be included in one lawsuit, and what is the statute of limitations for filing such a lawsuit in California?

When a claim is dismissed without prejudice, does it mean it can be refiled after curing deficiencies, and if so, do I need to file a notice of intention to refile or just file it within a certain time?

I attended an event where I was unknowingly filmed discussing relationships. The video was posted on the host company's social media with unflattering titles and captions, and I was not given a copy of any release form I supposedly signed. I want to stop the company from posting the video and remove my face from it. How can I legally address this issue in Illinois, a two-party consent state?

I found a wallet in a casino, left with it intending to mail it to the owner, but was later arrested for larceny when I returned it after the casino called. I'm in Connecticut and have a court date tomorrow. What can I do to fight this charge and potentially sue for false arrest?

I am a disabled man who was evicted from my Green Bay, WI home due to accusations and lies by an associate who also owns the home. My credit score dropped from 720 to over 400, and I have maxed out my credit cards due to my low disability income. Does the Americans with Disabilities Act protect me from this situation, and what kind of lawyer do I need?
