I have a client whose son is attempting to take over her business. He has been responsible for many wrongdoings to the business even though he has no legal rights to the business or checking account. I am concerned that on my next visit, he could be threatening to me, verbally or possibly attempt a physical scare tactic. What do I do to protect myself, if necessary, on my visit that is coming up shortly? Is it legal for me to have a recording device in operation concealed?
