I have a default judgment against me in Fresno, CA, but the case is in Martinez, CA. The proof of service indicates that a company called Cal Serve in Southern California served an adult woman at a place I didn't live and to a person who doesn't exist. The owner of the served address confirmed that no one by that name ever lived there. Can I sue the proof of service agency, and who should I contact to prosecute them for providing false proof of service? This default judgment caused me to lose my job.
