I am a graduate student who let a law school student borrow my expensive TV. She now refuses to return it or respond to my calls. We had a verbal agreement that she would only borrow the TV. Is this illegal, and what can I do to get it back? Can I sue her, and if so, what would be the process and potential costs involved?

I want to file a motion to vacate in NH due to the discovery that the company suing my wife did not have a certificate of authority with the Secretary of State, which is required under RSA 293-A:15.02. The company is a debt collection agency that filed suit just before the statute of limitations expired. My wife represented herself in court but should have had an attorney. What are our options, and is filing a motion to vacate a viable option?
