I have a land contract for my property that was never filed with the courts. The buyer stopped paying, and I want to sell the property to someone else. I read that in Florida, a new land contract with another buyer, once filed with the court, can supersede the previous unfiled contract. Is this true, and what steps should I take to ensure the new sale is valid?
