I have a large position of stock at T Rowe Price that they took in a few months ago on an internal ACAT. I recently received a letter saying they no longer want to do business with me and want me to close my account and move my stock out. With the new caveat emptor ruling, it is impossible to do and other firms have accounts on liquidation only for caveat emptor stocks. Can T Rowe legally do this to me? They have my account frozen and I cannot liquidate, and they are asking me to move my stock which is not a possibility at this point. What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location. What steps have you taken so far? Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
