How can I assist you this time? Last time we chatted it involved a civil rights suit. Here's what you need to know. It is considered Cruel and Unusual Punishment which is prohibited by the 8th Amendment to the Constitution, for an inmate to be denied adequate medical treatment. So if you had a serious condition for which you needed immediate care and Corrections did almost nothing at the expense of your health and safety, that would be grounds for a law suit. The toughest part of suing the county is finding a lawyer who will take it. Many local lawyers feel, rightly or wrongly believe that their practices will suffer if they take up a case against the local powers-that-be. You may have to spread a wide net into neighboring counties. If your case is good enough, however, some lawyer should be willing to take it. I'm not sure what you wanted to know this time around.
