I have a workers' compensation claim for a back injury. My doctor has me working only 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, but I haven't been paid for the hours to make up my full-time 40-hour workweek. It's been three weeks since I last saw my doctor, who referred me to a pain management doctor due to increased pain since returning to work. I've been trying to contact the workers' comp nurse to find out if my appointment has been scheduled, but I keep getting voicemail and no call back. I also can't get a hold of the claims adjuster about payment. My take-home pay has dropped significantly, and I'm struggling to support my family of four. Do you have any suggestions?

My boss told me that I am the only manager who leaves early for medical appointments. I thought this was illegal. I always use an approved vacation day when I leave. Is this a legal issue, and could it be considered harassment based on disability or perceived disability?
