I have an expired agreement where I was supposed to be paid a certain rate per night. The contractor who hired me is refusing to pay that rate and has already cut down my pay without my consent. I am supposed to give 90 days notice, but I don’t see how they can force me to work without being paid my rate. What are my rights in this situation?

A company installed a wrong shower door/enclosure. I went to small claims court to get them to replace the wrong door/enclosure with a new frame and door. The court agreed. Do I have the right to keep the old - wrong shower door/enclosure when the company replaces it?

I cancelled an online order 15 minutes after it was placed. They refunded my money, but later that afternoon, they withdrew the money again from my bank account. They deny this happened. I have evidence including bank statements, dates, and emails. What legal actions can I take?

What is the burden of proof for an abuse of process or malicious prosecution case, especially when the defendant has testified in court that the plaintiff has never struck, restrained, or cursed them, and has no knowledge of the plaintiff treating any other person that way?

If in court and you state that you are the beneficiary and executor of a name, and you hand the bailiff the birth certificate of that name without going through the swinging doors, does that separate you from that name? I am located in Texas, Tarrant County, facing 2 felonies with no victims. The name in question was created as a trust in all capital letters on every legal document and is the name that has to be attached to the body when charging.

I had a traumatic experience with an intimidating Animal Control Officer (ACO) in Medway, MA, who threatened to euthanize my trauma dog and cited me for neglect, despite my honesty and respect. Due to the stress and lack of time, I regrettably surrendered my 4th dog, Cyrus, to avoid the ACO making the decision. Cyrus later ran away from the fosters, and despite my efforts to adopt him back, he was eventually adopted by the fosters. I want my dog back and for the ACO to be appropriately punished and reformed. What legal steps can I take to achieve this?
