I have been divorced from my ex-wife for 29 years and have been paying child support, including arrears, which has been financially devastating. My ex-wife has caused numerous problems, and I have not seen my children. I am currently paying 50% of my income to her, making it difficult to manage my bills. I want to know how to stop or lower these payments, as my children are now 29 years old. What can I do?

I live in California and have a 9 1/2-year-old son with a mother I have never been married to. I have served her with an OTSC for visitation modification. I want 50/50 summer, winter, and spring vacations, and shared transportation, as I have been doing all the driving since 1999, which is a 7-hour round trip. What can I expect in court, especially since my son is older and wants to spend more time with me, and the travel arrangement is causing hardship?
