I have been playing a game on my Android device for the past 6 years and have paid for in-game items. However, about 5 months ago, I couldn't access the game, and when I finally did, I noticed many of my items were missing and found them in a column that required me to repurchase them. Now, the game won't let me purchase anything. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

My landlord had to tent the property for termites and informed me that there is a gas leak preventing the gas from being turned on. The repairs have no timeline, and I have been without a functioning stove and hot water. My landlord is only willing to deduct the cost of the hotel stay and wants me to pay the remaining rent. What are my rights as a tenant in Los Angeles, California, and what options do I have to address this situation?

We signed a 5-page application order form to purchase a point of sale (POS) system with a POS company, which included a merchant agreement as a requirement. The POS company failed to meet our demands, so we cancelled the purchase. However, the merchant company is asking us to pay to cancel the merchant agreement. Is this fair, and where should we apply to clarify the subject? We are in Florida, and the merchant company is different from the POS company.

My wife and I have been dealing with an issue involving the IRS and the Department of Justice, Tax Division, since 2014. The IRS recently placed a levy on my wife’s wages despite letters from the IRS stating she is excluded from the tax matter. The issue has been through the Tax Court and the third circuit Court of Appeals. I am preparing a binder with key communications, transcripts, and decisions to provide to a retired Federal Judge. Can you please intercede on our behalf?

I’m dealing with a contractor from an insurance claim in El Paso county, Colorado. The work is incomplete and of poor quality, despite billing my insurance company almost $50k. They’ve replaced 5 windows, done a subpar job on my deck, painted and filled stucco on one wall, and replaced about 60 roof tiles. They claim they haven’t received enough money from insurance to finish the deck, which is in poor condition. I’ve been asked to sign documents stating the work is complete to receive the final payment. I want to withhold the last payment until completion. What steps should I take to ensure the work is done correctly and what legal options do I have if the contractor made false claims to the insurance company?
