I have been searching for months for help. I need to sue a city organization due to constant harassment by drug dealers, which started after I reported a crack house and had squatters in my house that the police did not remove. I lost my section 8 voucher and everything I owned. What legal steps can I take to address this situation?

I adopted a dog out from my rescue 5 years ago, and the contract stated I could take the dog back at any time if there was suspected neglect. I’ve been made aware of animal cruelty charges against the adopter for other dogs in her care. Does my contract still stand, and can I remove the dog if neglect is suspected based on the other reported cases, even though my rescue was dissolved a few years ago?

As a dual citizen with over 70 bank accounts, I'm in Ontario and have been filing taxes for years. My accountant's costs have increased from $3,000 to $20,000 this year. What is a reasonable cost for filing a dual citizen tax return in the US? I see ads for $279, but is there a general idea about fees? $20,000 CAD seems a bit high.

I got divorced from my husband three months ago after a 9-year marriage. He was abusive, and there was an NCIS investigation with 8 testimonies, a medical report, a police report, and two videos and pictures of emotional and physical abuse. Despite this evidence, his chain of command said there was a lack of probable cause and no disciplinary action was taken. Is this legally acceptable, and what would I need to do to contest it?

In my stipulation agreement case, the appeal was dismissed. Can I request to include the deposition records from the defendant and myself in the designation record, besides the settled statement request? Additionally, several of my exhibits were not docketed or admitted in evidence. How do I include these in the appeal clerk transcript? Can I just type in whatever I handed to the judge who handed to the clerks who never entered it?

I am concerned about a promissory note from the HOA lawyer that requests personal details such as banking information, employer details, etc. Is it legal for them to request this information in Maryland? Additionally, they offer no electronic payment options, which seems to impose an added hardship. We have begun making payments but have not yet signed the note. What could be their next steps if we do not sign?
