Do we have to file for a tax extension if I am receiving a refund from the Federal government? Or will it be considered an automatic extension?

My client's Apartment Management Co. has sent a notice for a 'gas check' on all apartments, stating they will break down doors if not allowed access. My client is elderly, disabled, and recovering from hoarding. Can the management company legally break down her door and enter her apartment in New York if she refuses access?

I've been accused of drug use due to a false positive drug test result for meth, which I believe was caused by my use of Wellbutrin XL and Sudafed. I have a history of addiction and have attended rehab, but now I'm being treated as if I'm still using drugs. I've refused further testing with a lab that I believe mishandled my previous test. I'm taking Wellbutrin XL for my mental health, but it's being made to look illegal. I want to take this to my general doctor and potentially sue those involved for making my life difficult. Can I sue, and can a pharmacist vouch for me that Wellbutrin XL could take weeks to clear out of my system?

I sued and won against a contractor, but he did not pay the judgment and filed for bankruptcy. Could I put a lien against his house, and what are my rights regarding recovering expenses for my dog's vet bills after it was bitten by another dog?
