I have purchased a piece of equipment on a lease agreement where the date of the first bill was not noted. I asked to be notified of the date of the first payment, but no attempt was made to inform me. When I received the bill after the due date, it was for $100 more than the signed agreement. I was given a three-day period to opt out of the contract, but that time was over before I received the paper bill. I am being harassed by the finance company and want out of the lease. What can I do?
